In PBL during a unit on the Renaissance, students, as videographers, created a a visual to teach about a figure of the Renaissance. The below image, a thinglink, annotated with Chatterpix videos, was created by a group of 7th graders to show their understanding of William Shakespeare.
In supporting the school learning goals and the students' academic needs to write across the curriculum, students write often in my class. Students also learn peer editing strategies. An objective of the pre-AP class is for students to write a comparative essay. This is one of the early stages.
